As you all have already attended the meetings of our association previously, you know that we are helping and thinking always for the welfare of you people and about your paying guests and hostels to run your business without any troubles and problems and also we are trying to find solutions for the day to day problems of P.Gs and Hostels by meeting the concerned officers of BBMP , BESCOM , BWSSB , etc.,

Now , we have to inform to you all about an important point. The officers of BESCOM are seeing our paying guests and hostels with commercial minded point and applying back billing system to us. From this the owners of PG & Hostels had faced so many troubles and problems. Hence we protested very strongly and brought this point to the concerned officers of BESCOM by giving paper statements. And also we approached to consumer court by appealing this point and they promised that we will succeed about our approach. You are all aware that these steps taken by us will definitely help to our PGs and hostels.

Here, we have to inform one more point to you. As per the judgement order, back billing system should not be applied for any of the P. G s and Hostels. But, officers of BESCOM are acting according to their whims and fancies and applying back billing system. So, our humble request to you is that, we have to join together in huge numbers and protest strongly against this back billing system and abolish permanently. Now as we know, this problem is effecting only for few at present, but if we leave this as it is, it will definitely effect to all the owners of the PG s and hostels in Karnataka.

For this problem, we have already published in some papers and brought to the notice of the concerned officers and we met the honorable Commissioner of BBMP, Sri. SANTHOSH also with the help of Ex-councilar Sri . Sathyanaryan Rao and submitted our request for the same. He promised that he will discuss with the officers and definitely help us favourably. Apart from these things our leading Advocate sri. Nagabhushan Rao has also promised that he will discuss with the legal specialist about this back billing system and help us through the court.

Hence, we request your kind help and co-operation for the strong protest against BESCOM and to run the paying guests and hostels without any difficulties and problem in future.
